ITV Turns ‘The Ipcress File’ Into TV Series Penned By ‘Trainspotting’s John Hodge; Joe Cole, Lucy Boynton, Tom Hollander Star
DEADLINE – EXCLUSIVE: Here’s a hot one: ITV is turning Len Deighton’s spy novel The Ipcress File, which inspired the 1965 Michael Caine film of the same name, into a television series — and the UK broadcaster has assembled a stellar on- and off-screen team to make the drama a reality.
The adaptation will be penned by BAFTA-winning Trainspotting writer John Hodge, while the cast will be led by Gangs Of London and Peaky Blinders star Joe Cole, alongside Bohemian Rhapsody actress Lucy Boynton, and The Night Manager’s Tom Hollander. The Crown and Rush producer Andrew Eaton will serve as an executive producer, while the six-part Berlin-set series will be helmed by McMafia and Black Mirror director James Watkins.

“The Politician” Season 2 Screen Captures
Hi, Lucy fans! Screen captures of Lucy as Astrid in The Politician season two have been added to the gallery.
New Site Design and Updates
It’s been quite slow on our end for the past few months, and I can only apologise for the lack of updates. While we’ve been quiet here Lucy has been busy at the start of the year attending high profile events, and she had a new role announcement. For those who may have missed it, Lucy shall be starring as Marianne Faithfull in a new biopic of the singer, aptly titled “Faithful”. Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 crisis happening in the world right now, pre-production is more than likely on hold.
Before getting into some of the updates made to the gallery, I would like to show off our brand new site + gallery designs! I figured it was well overdue, as in February we celebrated our 1 year online! Thank you to all who has contributed and visited the site.
Our site + gallery themes are by the wonderful Ten Thousand Beats, header by myself (which I wanted to make as bright and cheerful for Spring/Summer). I’d also like to thank Edge Designs for their wonderful plugin used in our gallery. You’ll notice it when you visit the main page and see the beautiful pictures beside the category names.
Updates
I won’t include all updates here, but at the start of the year, Lucy attended the Golden Globes as well as her second Academy Awards and Vanity Fair afterparty. Before the world was basically shut down against the pandemic, she was also in Paris for the Chloe fashion show. You can find all new updates in the gallery. Enjoy browsing!
